Matthew was a Foyle Young Poet of the Year and has written for the NYT, the National Poetry Society, the London School of Liberal Arts, Left Foot Forward and in the Independent on Sunday. Hi is a freelance writer and journalist with a particular interest in social justice, subcultures and marginal voices and is currently studying for an MA in Newspaper Journalism at City University in London, working part-time for the Independent, completing work placements and freelancing for a range of publications.
