HOW CAN I CHANGE MY PASSWORD OR RESET IT IF I’VE LOST IT?

The solution at the moment is to use the ‘Lost your Password?’ option on the login page for you account.
Visit My Account and click on ‘Lost your Password?’, you will then get an email with a link to enable you to amend your password.

PROBLEMS WITH DOWNLOADING DIGITAL ISSUES

If you are getting an error similar to You don’t have permission to access […]/Bare-Fiction-Magazine-Issue03.pdf on this server, then you need to login to your account before attempting to download the file. This security issue is so that only those that have purchased the edition may download the digital issue.

 

DO YOU REVIEW BOOKS AND COLLECTIONS?

We accept titles for review that have been published no more than 6 months prior to submitting to us. These can be poetry collections, anthologies, chapbooks and pamphlets, collections and anthologies of short fiction, novels or published plays. We do not accept self published titles for review.

CAN I SUBMIT ON BEHALF OF SOMEONE ELSE?

No. Only work submitted by the author will be read. No submissions from publishers, presses or agents please.

DO YOU PROVIDE FEEDBACK ON SUBMISSIONS?

We receive a lot of submissions and are therefore unable to give personal feedback.

HOW MANY SUBMISSIONS CAN I MAKE?

PLEASE ONLY MAKE A SINGLE SUBMISSION FOR ANY DEADLINE.

We would ask that you please refrain from re-submitting for the same issue if your initial work is not accepted for publication at that time, unless specifically requested to do so by a member of the editorial team.

DO YOU CHARGE A READING FEE?

We do not charge a reading fee for submissions to the magazine.

However, we reserve the right to charge for submissions to any current or future competitions we may run.

CAN I ORDER BACK ISSUES?

DOES THE WRITER GET PAID?

At this time Bare Fiction Magazine is unable to pay writers for work published in the magazine. However, we do offer all published contributors a complimentary printed edition of the magazine in which they feature.

WHAT IS THE COPYRIGHT STATUS OF SUBMITTED WORK?

All rights revert to the authors upon publication. We ask that your work does not appear in another publication (print or online) for a period of 3 months from the date of publication in Bare Fiction Magazine. We also ask that Bare Fiction Magazine is acknowledged with any subsequent publication of your work by another website or press.

Though authors retain all rights to their work, we may wish to publish your work on our website before of after print publication, and so require Non-Exclusive Digital Rights.

WHEN IS THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS?

We accept submissions all year round, but specific deadlines for each issue will be updated on the submissions page and each submission option on Submittable will have an end date.

IS THE MAGAZINE A PRINT OR DIGITAL MAGAZINE?

Bare Fiction Magazine is both a print and digital edition literary magazine. You can order copies online by visiting the page for each issue starting with our Launch Issue, published in December 2013.

HOW CAN I SUBSCRIBE TO THE MAGAZINE?
